Cashmere Middle School

Ensuring high levels of learning for all in a safe and supportive setting.

CMS Message

Cashmere Middle School is located on the ancestral homelands of the p’squosa (also known as the Wenatchi) people, a band of the šnp̍əšqʷáw̉šəxʷ and part of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. For generations, the p’squosa lived, traveled, and cared for the region now known as Cashmere, especially along the Wenatchapam, or Wenatchee River.

We honor their enduring connection to this land, their ongoing contributions to the cultural life of this region, and their role as original stewards of the environment we now share. We also recognize that Indigenous communities are still here and continue to shape the future of North Central Washington.

As a school, we are committed to learning the full story of this place and to creating a community where every student feels seen, valued, and connected.
